Lars Brandle

Lars Brandle is the Australia Correspondent for Billboard, where he has reported from the frontline of the global music industry for more than 25 years. A former musician, he first joined Billboard in 2000 and went on to serve as Global News Editor before taking on his current role. From June 2024 to May 2025, Brandle was Head of Content at Vinyl Media, overseeing coverage across the group’s music and pop-culture titles, including Rolling Stone AU/NZ, Variety AU, Tone Deaf and The Music Network, and was subsequently promoted to Editorial Director.
