L-FRESH The LION is one of Australia’s most powerful hip-hop voices — an ARIA-nominated MC whose work blends sharp lyricism, social justice, and South Asian identity. His career highlights include performing at SummerStage Festival in New York’s Central Park for The Aussie BBQ during hip-hop’s 50th anniversary, serving as a global YouTube Creators for Change ambassador, and delivering a keynote performance at the United Nations.

Raised in South-West Sydney by Punjabi immigrant parents, L-FRESH channels Sikh values of equality and purpose through music that champions resilience and cultural pride. He has released three critically acclaimed albums — One (2014, featuring KRS-One), Become (2016), and SOUTH WEST (2020) on Elefant Traks — and collaborated with Grammy-winning producer Mike Elizondo (Eminem, 50 Cent). His international presence spans the UK, Canada, and India’s hit show MTV Hustle. He’s performed alongside Nas, Sir Elton John, Talib Kweli, and DJ Jazzy Jeff, and is the writer and performer of WE THE KINGS, the official anthem for the Sydney Kings (NBL).
